For 22 years, individuals with disabilities and their families in need of help have been reaching out to DAWN Center for Independent Living for assistance in navigating an extremely complex service system. DAWN is a nonprofit agency based in Denville that offers a broad range of support services for people with all types of disabilities of all ages.  Because of the exceptional service and expertise provided by our staff, the agency became a provider of choice for Support Coordination services in 2013 to individuals and families involved in the Division of Developmental Disability (DDD) Supports Program. Individuals choose DAWN for the personal attention they receive from our highly trained staff and the professional manner in which they are treated. DAWN prides itself on having the knowledge needed regarding local resources to guide families through the planning process to ensure families have the information necessary to make informed choices in order to best utilize their DDD budget. The agency offers these services not only in Morris and Sussex counties, but has expanded into Somerset County as well.

As per DAWN’s Executive Director, Carmela Slivinski, “If you or a loved one are struggling to find the services you need and aren’t sure where to turn, give DAWNcil a call. Even if we don’t know the answer to your questions, we know where to find the answers. We are here to support you and help guide you along the path to accomplish any goal that you set for yourself.”
